If you are reading this now, then you must know that in 4 minutes, the sun will suddenly stop being the bright, hot ball of gas that it is and will become a cold, dark mass.  You will have roughly eight minutes to do whatever it is you want to do before it becomes too cold for anything we have that can keep anything alive.

Various people watching the sun noted two hours ago that solar flares were being ejected from the sun in what appeared to be a pattern.  That pattern was Morse Code.  It appears the sun has been communicating with us.  The message basically came down to "You idiots.  You don't care.  I quit."

*So what do you people think about an 'evolving' story (not based on the above).  What do I mean by 'evolving'?  Think along the lines of a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book.  Except you won't get to cheat.
